Richard is working a series of tree paintings in the studio from source material gathered this fall. These new paintings provide a unique perspective of the tree canopies seen from the ground looking up.

Someone called the other day to come out to our studios to look at some work. They asked how much snow was on the ground. Well….a lot!

A recent trip to NYC included the Morandi Exhibition at the MET, the Elizabeth Peyton Exhibition at the new New Museum of Contemporary Art, fabulous new Terry Winters paintings at the Matthew Marks Gallery and of course a patronage to the large Monet " Reflections of Clouds on the Water Lily Pond" circa 1920 and a trip to the Dia Museum in Beacon, NY. And of course no trip to NYC is complete without marveling at the street art.
