July 7th will be the date for the opening of Richard Kooymans series 'The Lake Michigan Paintings' at Betsie Bay Furniture in Frankfort, Michigan. Having lived in Frankfort for manys years he is intimately familiar with the shore line of Frankfort. This will be a unique opprotunity to view a body of work dealing with the sky and water of Northern Michigan. While not a traditional gallery per se, Betsie Bay Furniture has grown into one of the most notable retail outlets in the area. It will be a unique experience to view these paintings in a home like setting that itself overlooks the waters of Lake Michigan. The show runs July 7th through August 3rd.
